Don't call us, we'll call you or what's your preferred communication mode?

The full article however can be found at Sast Wingees Speaketh, (also linked on CN) it's so obvious really when you think about it.
I'm going to add my own take to this and modify my e-mail signatures, snail mail correspondance and personal web-pages and blogs to let people know my preferred communication mode. If everyone did the same would we waste less time? I might even create a little web-page to create a template to cut and paste. Please comment and let me know what you think. Now all I need are some illustrative graphics for this!
My preferred communication modes are:
- In person if we're both in the building
- By telephone if you have my number
- By e-mail or instant messenger
- By letter
- Comments on my Blogs
- An envelope full of money ;-)
- R – Response order (always include)
- E – Email
- A – Appointment (in person)
- C – Call me
- T – Text messaging
- I – Instant messaging
- O – Other, as specified
- N – Next day (post) if we’re lucky
My REACTION preferences are: RACEINO,
O = Blogs and envelopes of money!(what does this mean? About REACTION)

Dear anonymous - Nothing like a bit of humour, if you're happy to put that on your e-mail signatures etc.. I look forward to your correspondence!
Good slides here by Brian Kelly, University of Bath - http://www.ukoln.ac.uk/web-focus/events/conferences/ili-2005/talk-1/email-must-die.ppt
A man after my own heart - e-mail must die, perfect! Lot's of alternatives offered in these Powerpoint slides.
Interesting slides about Uni libraries starting to add Blogs to their catologue as well, another one on the to-do list!
